Michael Ahlefeldt-Laurvig-Bille and Per Pedersen founded Egeskov Bioenergy in the fall of 2007. Our vision is:

Creating value and benefiting the environment through trading of CO2 neutral products

For a number of years Egeskov Castle on Funen in Denmark has been heated using rapeseed oil. In February 2006, Egeskov started their own production of rapeseed oil using an oil mill, which extracts oil from the rape seed. The oil mill was later expanded to a production capacity of 6000 tons of cold-pressed oil per year. This led the way for sales of rapeseed oil and pellets to external buyers. Sales of CO2 neutral energy products such as wood pellets, briquettes, firewood and ground wood (for Danish power stations) are also important elements in Egeskov Bioenergy activities. We also handle sales of a number of leading products within the field of CO2 neutral energy.

Our goal is to create sustainable products, benefiting our customers as well as the environment. We are always interested to getting in contact with serious trade or collaboration partners.
