The Dahlia Garden

The Dahlia Garden is laid out in raised beds in the area opposite the Kompan playground. It is an ideal and popular place for enjoying a picnic.

In the spring, the beds are filled with tulips - approximately 6,000 tulip bulbs are planted in new configurations every year. The tulips flower until 1 June when the dahlias are planted out to produce a profusion of flowers in a wide range of colours from the middle of July until the first night frost makes itself felt.
